Job Duties & Responsibilities:
• Conduct field investigations and perform failure/accident analysis on incidents involving all types of vessels and mechanical equipment and perform damage stability analysis and hull structural failures
• Conduct analysis of slip/trip/fall, public access and design cases
• Conduct vessel accident reconstruction and analysis and mechanical/electrical failure analysis 
• Perform intact and damage stability analysis and hull structural failure analysis
• Provide technical findings and conclusions in laymen’s terms, both verbally and in writing
• Conduct unbiased investigations for various types of clients
• Responsible for retention and development of client relationships
• Deliver professional presentations, develop client relationships and promote self to client groups.
• Support conclusions by appropriate testimony in legal proceedings

Position Requirements:
• Masters degree in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Related Field
• Minimum of eight years of naval architecture or maritime engineering experience
• Failure analysis experience preferred
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
• P.E. in Naval Architecture 
• Requires 50% travel

• Ability to maneuver in and around vessels 
• Ability to lift 40 lbs
• Ability to travel
